So…what makes a pet friendly/non-toxic candle or wax melt? The majority of candles on the high street are created with paraffin wax, a derivative of petroleum which releases nasty toxins when burnt such as toluene, benzene, acetaldehyde, formaldehyde and acrolein, which should be avoided for humans, and most certainly our beloved dogs. Many also have lead wicks which when burnt, can emit potentially harmful substances, which if inhaled by your pet can cause sickness, dizziness and possibly seizures. The majority of candles on the high street include synthetic colours and fragrances which can cause allergy symptoms.
Paws Right There candles & wax melts guarantee: All of our candles and melts are created using 100% natural plant-based natural coconut and rapeseed wax. Our wax is free from palm, paraffin, artificial additives and is also considered vegan friendly. Our candles and melts are hand-poured at our HQ in Cheshire using the highest quality, cruelty free, natural and sustainable ingredients. Our natural cotton (lead-free) and unbleached wicks ensure the cleanest burn possible. We use carefully diluted natural essential oils and no synthetic fragrances, parabens, carcinogens or other nasties.
No Plastics… we use glass jars for our candles and glassine bags for our melts, and all of our packaging is 100% recyclable.
30cl candle, housed in a Luxury Matt white glass vessel. Your candle will arrive inside a premium cardboard tube for a luxury finish along with a dust cap.

How to use: When you light the candle for the first time burn it until it creates a pool of wax across most of the diameter of the candle. This will ensure the candle remembers to burn to the edge rather than a tunnel for an even burn. Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn and never burn for longer than 4 hours.

My dog is petrified of fireworks. I bought this candle along with the calm the fluff down roll on & together they really are a magical duo. Cooper is calm & snuggled on the sofa rather then hiding, scared behind it. Would 100% recommend, wish I’d bought them sooner!
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! I’m a massive fan of luxury candles and usually spend a fortune on them. That was until we lost our little dog at 13 years old after an acute illness after only owning her for a year. Her history wasn’t great, after living with heavy smokers and kept indoors all her life her health really suffered from it so when we decided to get a new puppy I went down the rabbit hole of clean cleaning products and candles and I’m completely obsessed with Paws right there. Subtle yet powerful, these make my flat smell incredible. Calm, fresh and clean, exactly how I want my home to smell and none of the guilt that I’m making my dog inhale all the toxic fumes that I usually wouldn’t have thought twice about. Before losing my beautiful dog I really didn’t think those things mattered but I promise, after watching her be unwell for the whole year we had her I can assure you they do.These are beautiful and smell beautiful too. Beautiful packaging and quick delivery, it was just a stab in the dark after looking at many companies but so glad I found them and will continue to fill my home home with as many as I can 💖🐶
I was expecting so much more, after reading the reviews. The smell is very mild and hardly noticeable. I'm questioning if I have something wrong with my nose, given the lovely fragrance other reviewers have mentioned. Is it possible to have a faulty candle 🤷🏼♀️. I actually bought it to see if it would help our anxious dogs, but we've seen no improvement, as of yet. I am of the belief that good candles are worth paying extra for. Not in this case, unfortunately. On a positive note, it is a nice looking candle.

The only thing I would ask is for a slightly bigger wick please -so that there’s no wax wastage.😊

Loving the look of this candle, looks lovely in my lounge. As soon as I took the lid off I was hit by the beautiful fragrance. Such a lovely smell even when lit I can smell it upstairs. Effie & I love snuggling up on the sofa in the evening chilling out and this candle just seems to help me unwind from my busy day and Effie to be happy just chilling with me. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing again.

This candle is beautiful. It smells absolutely amazing and really helps to ease my dogs anxiety during firework season. Bonus it’s really helps with mine too and soothes my frequent migraines. I have another back up candle as I love it so much.
